Looking a gift horse in the mouth.

And by horse, I mean a beautiful woman. And by mouth, I mean ass. See, Beyonce and Shakira just got together to make a video for the song “Beautiful Liar,” and they’re really doin’ the damn thing in it. The music video is hot, it’s sexy, and it crosses genres in a fun way. The song isn’t particular deep or creative, but if that’s what you’re looking for, you might as well go to the strip club and find a chess partner. Don’t take yourself so seriously and you’ll have a good time.

Actually, my ire is mostly aimed at the crazy folks with their comments on YouTube, going back and forth about who’s hotter, who’s a better dancer, etc. Does it even matter? We’re talking about Shakira and Beyonce. Hot asses. Hot moves. Can a straight man really complain without sounding like a total douche? They need to get over themselves and realize that Jay-Z’s about the only man with any chance of hearin’ these women in stereo…if you know what I mean.

On the positive side of all this, I like it that girls with meat on their bones (aka Somethin’ to Hold & Squeeze™) are starting to be considered sexy again. Sure, there’s a certain segment of men who have always liked their ladies big-boned’ed, but this video is truly a symbolic and momentous occasion.
